Submit your .SX Sunrise applications as of now

The Internet Assigned Names Authority (IANA) delegated the .SX TLD (Sint Maarten) to SX Registry SA in December 2011 following a decision of the ICANN Board.

Currently, the .SX launch is in the Sunrise phase until July 4, 2012.
Holders of eligible trademarks may submit a Sunrise application for the registration of a .SX domain name that corresponds to their trademark. Registered status of the trademark must be obtained on or before March 1, 2011. Multiple applications for the same domain name will be allocated following the outcome of an auction process.

Please use the following command to submit your Sunrise applications. For prices, please see our last newsletter or contact our sales team.

After Sunrise, the .SX launch schedule is as follows: Local Sint Maarten corporate and personal priority periods (July 5 to Sept 4, 2012): For legal and natural persons (individuals) registered in Sint Maarten, eligible domain names restricted to variants and derivatives of the (legal) names of such eligible registrants (not supported by RRPproxy). Landrush Period (Sept 5 to Oct 4, 2012): For any interested party: Multiple applications for the same domain name will be allocated following the outcome of an auction process. General Availability (starting Oct 5, 2012): Available domains can be registered on a first-come, first-served basis. .SX is the ccTLD for the autonomous country of Sint Maarten that belongs to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Sint Maarten is the southern "Dutch Part" of the Caribbean island of Saint Martin. A local presence on the island is not required for the registration of .SX domains.
